Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE) is a national-level examination conducted to test the understanding of undergraduate students. The exam was usually conducted once a year. The Gate exam will be conducted for 3 hours in online mode. But comparing to the previous year the IIT Bombay who is responsible for the Gate Examination has made some changes in the Gate Exam pattern. And further, it has also added some additional cities for GATE Exam 2021 and removed the corona-affected areas.

Exam Pattern GATE 2021
The gate 2021 exam date was scheduled to be held on February 5 to 7 and 12 to 14 as a computer-based test. In the earlier gate exam pattern, the candidates have to answer only Multiple-Choice Questions (MCQs) and Numerical Answer Type Questions. But this time there are some changes in Gate 2021 syllabus. The candidates have to answer additional Multiple select Questions. Where the marks will be divided as for Subject Questions -72 Marks, General Aptitude – 15 Marks, and Engineering Mathematics – 13 Marks. The added cities for Gate 2021 include Jhansi (IIT Kanpur), Dhenkanal (IIT Kharagpur), Chandrapur (IIT Bombay), and Muzaffarnagar (IIT Roorkee). Whereas, the IIT Madras has been removed from the list. The GATE 2021 application starts on September-14. The interested and Eligible candidates can apply for gate 2021 Examination. The applied candidates can start the gate preparation and stay tuned with gate 2021 notification.
