The TNEA online 2021 (TamilNadu Engineering Admission) is completely an online process. TNEA application form is downloadable from the TNEA official website. Anna University & DOTE announce the TNEA counselling date sooner than later. The process undergoes 6 stages.

Students can apply for the admission registration process at TNEA login by clicking here https://www.tneaonline.org/. After the registration process is completed, the students can upload the necessary certificates by login with their username and password. Next, the eligible candidates will be assigned a random number, followed by certificate verification.
Anna University and DOTE Combined Publish TNEA Random Number for Every Candidates
Anna University Random Number will act as a tiebreaker for the students with the same score. A random number is a unique identification number. Here, a 10 – digit number is assigned to eligible candidates who have registered for the admission process.
Anna University Ranklist will be Out well before the Final Stage of Counselling
Anna University counseling Ranklist TNEA will be based on the merit list of the students. Here, the merit list is assigned by the cut-off mark score of every candidate who applied for counseling. Usually, the TNEA random number will be released before the publication of Ranklist. The merit list will be as follows: Firstly, students with higher engineering cut-off will be given preference. Here, more than one student with the same cut-off score will be selected following the highest score in Mathematics. Again, if the tie exists the physics score will be viewed. Likewise, if the scores are same again the Chemistry score will be considered. Still, the tie persists, the highest percentage in the four optional subjects will be given a higher rank. In case all of the scores are same, the higher rank will be given to the student whoever senior based on the date of birth. How the Counselling is Reserved for each and every Category
The TNEA counseling process is carried out in two stages, Counselling for special reservation category and general counseling. Under the special reservation category, the candidates of Differently abled, Ex-Serviceman and Sports person are included. All other candidates come under General counseling.
