Faculties:

One of the best assets of CSIIT is the quality faculties that the college retains for several years now. Since the CSI college management recruits faculties over the employment bureau (CSI Kanyakumari Diocese) the quality of the staff members is comparatively good in a sense. The college maintains adequate no. of staff as per the guidelines of AICTE and Anna University norms. The best thing about this college is that this college excels in a good staff-student ratio. As we hear from sources the college staff members give balanced freedom to the students on academics and all other activities.

Since the college is affiliated with Anna University, the B.E/B.Tech, M.E/M. Tech, MBA, MCA courses are offered by Anna University guidelines. Anna University is responsible for the semester exams and the degree of the students. College admission for students, university exams, scholarship and Fee Structure, and all remaining things followed by the guidelines of the TN govt. As we hear from the staff, students, and some other way, the college is almost fully equipped with machines and materials required for the maximum number of experiments. The first best thing is about the colleges in the lab facility (a pass-out student noted). Classrooms are adequately equipped with proper lighting and projector facilities. Nothing much to say and the Classrooms are decent enough. And, it is one of the best Engineering Colleges in Kanyakumari.

The college is located in a much lovely place. Since the college is surrounded by mountains on two sides and two with paddy fields. Even though the college is located in a suburban area reaching college is not a big task.

Accommodation and Facilities:

The college runs with separate boys and girls hostel. Each hostel is constructed with accommodation of more than 600 boys and girls. The college itself plies more than 20 passenger buses to reach students’ locality. A sports ground, gym, newspaper reading section, Computer Section for learning, a cafeteria, auditoriums, individual exam halls, and a chapel is available too.
