Since India is fighting against the second wave of COVID-19, all the educational institutions are following the online mode of education. In the same way, Anna University also follows online classes and online semester examinations. However, most of the students were facing some difficulties in taking the exam online. To avoid such situation, new Anna University online exam pattern was about to follow. From the circular published, the Anna University Exam was to conduct as, Open Book Test as Written Type by Online Proctored mode.

As per the new pattern, the online open book questions has been framed, with two sections as analytical types. The part-A section consists of 5 two-marks and Part-B containing 5-questions, with each carrying 8- marks. And the students can refer to the course material in physical form as well as from the web to get the answers. However, getting the answer from others in any way/form and group discussions will be considered malpractice. And the answers shall be scanned and uploaded after the completion of the exam. And for the final semester, the student’s exam will be conducted online following the MCQ pattern.
