Anna University Chennai has decided to conduct a Special Exam for students who joined the Engineering courses in the period from 2001 to 2003. Special Case Exam, which means students who exceeded the maximum period of attending the arrear exam. For those students, it’s an opportunity to complete their degree courses.
The following category of students was permitted for the Special Examination.
Students of Affiliated Colleges of Anna University, who have exhausted their permitted maximum period (as per their respective Regulations), admitted in the academic year 2001-2002 (3rd semester onwards) (i.e., students transferred from the State Universities of TamilNadu) & admitted from 2002-2003 (1st semester onwards).
In view of the ongoing situation due to COVID-19 Pandemic, April/May 2020 Anna University special Arrear Exam was not conducted. And now, it was planned to be conducted online during February/March 2021. Therefore, students who missed their registration in Feb 2020 can register now. For, students who already registered for anna university arrear exam and paid the fee need not register again. Also prescribed sum of Rs.5000/- (onetime) is to be paid by the students along with the Anna University arrear examination fee for each paper the candidates writing for. The Online registration Commences from 13th January 2021. Furthermore, Candidates can download the form using the Student Login Portal in the Register Preview Section.
