Due to the spread of COVID-19, all the Educational Institutions have been closed from late March. And the students were promoted, to next year without examinations. The students were now undergoing online Classes and Online Examinations by following UGC guidelines. Since the spread of Corona disease cases is decreasing day by day. The government has issued some relaxation in the lockdown from 1st November. Also, the government permitted Schools, Colleges, and Theatres to open. As per the Government order, the Schools and Colleges shall be reopened on Jan-19’2021 for Classes-10 and 12. And, also Anna University Academic schedule has released for the first semester students of the 2020-2021 batch.
Anna University Academic Schedule for the Batch 20-21 UG Students
As the Engineering Counselling TNEA 2020 has been completed Anna University has released a detailed notification for the I-semester students. As per the notification, the classes for I-semester will commence from November-23. Due to less number of working days, the Colleges will function on Saturdays also. The last working day is on February-24. This notification applies to all the students of the UG Programme.
