Tamil Nadu Government Directs Anna University to Hold Re-Exam for the Arrear Students

As we all know, Anna University has conducted the Arrear Exam on Nov/Dec 2020 in February, most of the student’s results were Withheld. Following this, Anna University published the withheld results for the students on roll. And still, now there is no news regarding the publication of Anna University Arrear result. Since the pass percentage is low and due to delay in the publication of results for Arrear Students, most of the colleges and students made a complaint. Due to some issues Re-Exam was planned to conduct.

On hearing the complaints, a meeting was organized on Monday with TN Chief Minister M.K. Stalin, Higher education minister K. Ponmudi, secretary Apoorva, and officials from Anna University. Considering the hardships faced by the student’s new decisions were taken. The government has ordered Anna University to conduct Re-Exam for the students who appeared for the online proctored examination in February. And for the students who have cleared the exam can also take part in the re-exam if they wish. As per the new order, the exam will be held online for 3 hours following the Pre-Covid Question Pattern System. It is mentioned that Students need not pay the fee for the Re-examination. The Anna University Re-Exam Date will be released in soon.
