The Tamil Nadu Board is scheduled to release the TN +2 Result 2023 today, May 8. The results will be available for all streams, and over 8 lakh students anxiously await their scores. Nandhini – A Carpenter’s Daughter
Nandini, hailing from the Dindigul district and the daughter of a laborer, has set a new record by scoring 100% in all subjects in her class 12th exams, achieving a total of 600 marks. This year’s public examination for 12th standard students in government, government-aided, and private schools under the Tamil Nadu state curriculum was conducted from March 13th to April 3rd, with over 8.3 lakh students from Tamil Nadu and Puducherry appearing for the exam. Nandini studied at the Annamalaiyar Mills Government Aided Girls School from LKG to 12th grade, and her father works as a carpenter while her mother is a homemaker. Her younger brother, Praveen, is currently in the sixth grade.
What Nandhini Says
After achieving a perfect score of 600 marks in all subjects of class 12th, Nandini celebrated her success with her parents, Banupriya and Saravanakumar, and her teachers by distributing sweets. Despite her father being a daily wage laborer, Nandini expressed gratitude for his unwavering support and encouragement to pursue her dreams. She attributed her success to her father’s hard work and constant motivation, stating that he always emphasized the importance of education as a valuable asset. Nandini also acknowledged the support and guidance she received from her teachers, who had been a constant source of encouragement since her early years in LKG, and expressed her happiness in making everyone proud.
12th Results Pass Percentage
The Tamil Nadu Class 12 exams witnessed over 8 lakh students appearing in 2022, with a pass percentage of 92.76 percent. Among them, the girls surpassed the boys with a pass percentage of 96.32 percent as compared to 90.96 percent. It is an encouraging sign to see girls excelling in their academics, and it highlights the importance of education in empowering women. The performance of students in the Class 12 exams is crucial as it opens up various career opportunities for them, and it lays the foundation for their future endeavors.
