Anna University has released a new rank list of engineering colleges in the state prepared based on the five-year average cut-off marks for admission to the Computer Science Engineering (CSE) program as a Benchmark.

College of Engineering, Guindy (CEG) is at the top of the list with a cut-off mark of 198.90. The Madras Institute of Technology in Chromepet came second with the average mark of 196.69. The ranking, unlike in the previous years, provides insights into how toppers choose colleges.
